President and Founder
Tom Jones previously ran the opposition research program for Cruz for President, served as Legislative Director to Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI), Senior Policy Advisor to former Senator Jim DeMint (R-SC), and President of the 339 Group and the Cannon Research Group, where he conducted research for Fortune 500 companies and political campaigns ranging from presidential to local races.
Jerome Trankle joined the American Accountability Foundation as Research Director after having previously gained five years of research experience working at Cannon Research Group where he wrote campaign opposition research reports on gubernatorial, US Senate, US House, and various state and local candidates.
Prior to joining Cannon Research Group, during the 2016 campaign cycle Jerome worked at CFS Compliance, a campaign finance compliance firm where he helped US Senate, US House, and local campaign committees, as well as leadership PACs and joint fundraising committees, file campaign finance reports and maintain compliance with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and various state and local filing authorities.
Jerome began his career in politics in Western New York as a staffer for former Rep. Chris Collins (NY-27). Jerome also worked on the 2014 gubernatorial campaign of Rob Astorino and helped many local and state campaigns alongside the Erie County and Niagara County Republican Committees.
Jerome is a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan and, when not holding Biden nominees and various other problematic liberals to account, enjoys playing the occasional round of golf.
